Weekend Event Host


Incredibowl Entertainment Toledo is hiring Weekend Event Hosts to join our team. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in creating a fun birthday party atmosphere and ensuring every celebration is a success! Event Hosts setup and cleanup the party, greet guests with genuine enthusiasm, and go the extra mile to anticipate their needs, making every celebration memorable.

This is a part-time/weekends, tipped position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Party Prep & Cleanup Pro: Set up decorations to create a festive atmosphere. After the party, you’ll efficiently clean up and ensure everything is ready for the next event.
  • Be Present: Greet every guest with a smile, being sure to address the birthday child by name (if applicable). Introduce yourself and remain visible to the group. If you require a break for any reason, you must inform another host or a manager so that they can oversee the party in your absence.
  • Stay on Schedule: Monitor the party flow to ensure it follows the planned schedule, keeping management informed of any changes or requests.
  • Anticipate Needs & Upsell: Be on the lookout for opportunities to exceed guest expectations. Go the extra mile by anticipating needs and suggesting additional food and beverage options to enhance the party experience.
  • Be of Service: Serve food and beverages efficiently and professionally, ensuring everyone enjoys their refreshments. Assist with lighting birthday candles, cutting cakes, and making every celebration feel special.
  • Make Memorable Interactions: Be a party participant! Interact with the group, fostering a fun atmosphere and creating lasting memories. Thank each guest for attending to leave them with a positive final impression.
  • Stay Informed: Remain knowledgeable about upcoming center events to answer guest inquiries accurately and confidently.
  • Maintain a Professional Appearance: Keep a neat and clean appearance while adhering to our dress code.
  • Be Dependable & Responsible: Maintain the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to all regulatory, departmental, and company policies.

Qualifications & Physical Requirements:

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from our location in Toledo, OH
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Must have current Food Handler Certificate or obtain one within the first 60 days of employment
  • Strong customer service, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional and professional communication, presentation, and mannerisms
  • Strong service-oriented attitude; outgoing personality
  • Required to stand; walk

Pay: $11.00 per hour
