Cashier (Food and Beverage)

Incredibowl Entertainment Winter Haven is hiring Cashiers to join our team. This position continually interacts with guests, so having an upbeat and customer service-oriented attitude is key. The cashier must have cash handling experience and be comfortable using a point-of-sale (“POS”) system. Cashiers are cross trained to assist with food prep/portioning, the pizza station, and other duties as assigned by management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Service: Greet customers warmly, suggest add-on items, and provide efficient service.
• Cash Handling: Operate a point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately. Maintain a clean cash drawer and provide correct change back to customers.
• Teamwork & Collaboration: Work effectively with team members across all departments to ensure smooth operations. Be willing to assist with food prep/portioning, the pizza station, and other duties as assigned by management.
• Maintain a Clean & Organized Environment: Assist with cleaning duties in the food and beverage service area during downtime and closing shifts. Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
• Knowledge & Training: Memorize the food and beverage menu and stay updated on changes. Maintain a strong working knowledge of the POS system and participate in ongoing training.
• Ensure Compliance: Verify identification of customers to ensure compliance with age requirements for alcohol purchases.
• Stay Informed: Remain knowledgeable about upcoming center events to answer guest inquiries accurately and confidently.
• Maintain a Professional Appearance: Keep a neat and clean appearance while adhering to our dress code.
• Be Dependable & Responsible: Maintain the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to all regulatory, departmental, and company policies.

Qualifications & Physical Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a fast-paced food and beverage environment
• Must have customer service experience
• Must have cash handling experience
• Must have current Food Handler Certificate or obtain one within the first 60 days of employment
• Must have reliable transportation to and from our location in Winter Haven, FL
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must be fluent in English
• Frequently required to stand
• May also perform physical activities such as lifting and stooping

Preferred:

• At least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma
• Responsible Alcohol Training
