Event Specialist

Incredibowl Entertainment Toledo is hiring an Event Specialist to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for guests who are planning parties and events at Incredibowl. From answering calls and emails to booking reservations and crafting customized event plans, you’ll set up every celebration for success!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Booking Expertise: Utilize our event booking software to efficiently create and manage reservations, ensuring accurate booking of lanes, food and beverage, and other event elements.
  • Communication Master: Field inquiries from guests via phone and email, providing clear and concise information while expertly guiding them through the booking process.
  • Organizational Excellence: Correctly input reservations into our software system, create Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) outlining the event details as well as guest preferences, and ensure that events are strategically booked according to availability and time.
  • Guest Liaison: Establish relationships with guests by confirming headcount, preferences, and budgetary needs to create personalized events.
  • Pricing Strategist: Provide accurate pricing information for various event components, suggest enticing packages that maximize guest satisfaction, and expertly upsell add-ons to enhance their event experience.
  • Dedicated Point of Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact for all guest inquiries throughout the booking process, providing them with clear communication and a stress-free experience.
  • Stay Informed: Remain knowledgeable about upcoming center events to answer guest inquiries accurately and confidently.
  • Maintain a Professional Appearance: Keep a neat and clean appearance while adhering to our dress code.
  • Be Dependable & Responsible: Maintain the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to all regulatory, departmental, and company policies.

Qualifications & Physical Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience in the hospitality industry required
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a professional customer service role, event coordination, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build a rapport with our diverse clientele
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure smooth event execution
  • Ability to multi-task effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • A positive and professional demeanor with a passion for exceeding guest expectations
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from our location in Winter Haven, FL
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Strong customer service, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong service-oriented attitude; outgoing personality

Preferred:

  • Proven proficiency in utilizing reservation management software

Pay: Starting at $17.00 per hour plus quarterly commission
Hours: Full-time (approx. 40 hours)
