This position continually interacts with guests, so having an upbeat and customer service-oriented attitude is key. The cashier must have cash handling experience and be comfortable using a point-of-sale (\u201cPOS\u201d) system. Cashiers are cross trained to assist with food prep\/portioning, the pizza station, and other duties as assigned by management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Guest Service:<\/strong> Greet customers warmly, suggest add-on items, and provide efficient service.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cash Handling:<\/strong> Operate a point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately. Maintain a clean cash drawer and provide correct change back to customers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Teamwork &amp; Collaboration:<\/strong> Work effectively with team members across all departments to ensure smooth operations. Be willing to assist with food prep\/portioning, the pizza station, and other duties as assigned by management.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Maintain a Clean &amp; Organized Environment:<\/strong> Assist with cleaning duties in the food and beverage service area during downtime and closing shifts. Maintain a clean and organized workstation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Knowledge &amp; Training:<\/strong> Memorize the food and beverage menu and stay updated on changes. Maintain a strong working knowledge of the POS system and participate in ongoing training.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ensure Compliance:<\/strong> Verify identification of customers to ensure compliance with age requirements for alcohol purchases.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Stay Informed:<\/strong> Remain knowledgeable about upcoming center events to answer guest inquiries accurately and confidently.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Maintain a Professional Appearance:<\/strong> Keep a neat and clean appearance while adhering to our dress code.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Be Dependable &amp; Responsible:<\/strong> Maintain the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to all regulatory, departmental, and company policies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Physical Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Minimum of 1 year of experience in a fast-paced food and beverage environment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must have customer service experience<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must have cash handling experience<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must have current Food Handler Certificate or obtain one within the first 60 days of employment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must have reliable transportation to and from our location in Winter Haven, FL<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must be legally authorized to work in the United States<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must be fluent in English<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Frequently required to stand<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>May also perform physical activities such as lifting and stooping<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Preferred:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>At least 18 years of age<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>High School Diploma<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Responsible Alcohol Training<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Incredibowl Entertainment Winter Haven is hiring Cashiers to join our team.
